Part of a series inspired on "the kinetic nature of speech", Alveolar Lateral Fricative by ~Ausila deviates from its methodological approach into surreal territory, presenting an aggressive, squishy landscape while remaining completely true to form. ( Featured by `stigmatattoo )

i am definitely a fan of your work. you show great skill and attention to detail. i think this piece was the first thing i ever favorited on the site.

i periodically come back to view your work. and i keep noticing something.. the stark black and the way the lips appear to curve into it is distracting to me. i like everything about this piece, and the others that also have the lip-fading to black thing, except for that.. it looks like you got lazy possibly (which i'm sure is not true.. you are clearly very patient and willing to work for your an incredible outcome)
